and irrigation and industrial applications. Available in a wide variety of sizes and specifications, Charter products meet or exceed the
industry’s highest standards for quality and durability. But, we are much more than just a pipe manufacturer. We think and operate as a
partner. We go the extra mile to ensure each part of the Charter experience exceeds your expectations. For quality, service and
reliability, you can count on Charter Plastics.
Polyethylene Pipe – The ideal choice
The outstanding physical and performance characteristics of High Density Polyethylene Pipe (HDPE) have made it the ideal piping choice for
many applications. Outstanding reliability, excellent chemical and environmental stress crack resistance combined with permanent leak free
joints and a 50+ year life expectancy have made polyethylene the preferred piping for transporting natural gas in the United States for over
25 years. The benefits of using HDPE are now being realized in other markets including Municipal and Rural water systems, Forced Main Sewer
installations, Geothermal Heat Exchangers and Industrial applications such as Landfills, Mining, Chemical and cooling water transport lines.
Let Charter Plastics help you determine the right polyethylene pipe for your application.
Trenchless Installation Technologies:
Polyethylene Pipe’s ability to utilize trenchless technologies is making it the preferred piping product for cities. Horizontal Directional
Drilling technologies allow trenchless installation of pipelines that minimizes costs and traffic disruption.
Trenchless Rehabilitation technologies allow cities to reline old leaking infrastructure with new, higher performing, polyethylene pipe
without tearing up city streets. The polyethylene pipe is pulled through the old pipe creating a new, leak free piping system.
Pipe Bursting technologies allow the cities to enlarge existing infrastructure. This technology is used when the existing piping system
isn’t large enough to met demand. A bursting head is pulled through the old piping system and a new larger diameter polyethylene pipeline
is pulled through the existing holes, enabling greater flow capacity and eliminating the need for extensive excavation.
Charter Plastics has built a broad portfolio of pipe products, fittings and fusion equipment to meet your needs. Please browse through
